1 package of 280g Paliria Greek Island chickpeas
16 mussels in shell
1 sprig of parsley
1 glass of dry white wine
1 small hot pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons chopped basil
Salt & pepper
1. Clean the mussels from the limescale, remove the byssal threads and put them in a pot.
2. Add the wine, parsley, pepper and close the pot with the lid.
3. Allow the mussels to open, discard those that don’t and after adding the olive oil, bring to a boil.
4. Then place the Paliria Greek Island Chickpeas and chopped basil, mix and serve.
You can add freshly ground pepper when serving for a more intense taste!
