Lentils Soup

Lentils are probably the most favorite legume! Paliria Lentils, however, are probably the easiest and tastiest way to include in our weekly diet a nutritious, and delicious meal, essential for a healthy, balanced diet. Like all legumes, lentils are an excellent source of fiber and protein. Paliria makes lentils so tasty, that they are even popular among children! With tomato sauce, onions, herbs and extra virgin olive oil, this dish is always rich in texture and taste, and can be accompanied by Feta cheese or olives. Paliria Lentils also belongs to the “Greek Originals” range, which means that it is a refrigerated ready-to-eat meal, available in individual portions, ready to be heated in a conventional or microwave oven.

Ingredients

Small lentils (cooked) 44%, water, onions, peeled tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil 5,5 % , red vinegar, tomato paste, salt, garlic, black pepper, oregano, bay leaves.

Instructions

The product should be stored in the refrigerator and is ready for heating.

It can be heated either in a microwave oven or a regular oven.

Remove the outer packaging. Pierce the film in 2 spots with a fork. A) In a microwave oven: Heat in the microwave oven at 600W for 2.5 – 3 minutes. Remove the film and serve. B) In a regular oven: Heat in a regular oven with the air setting at 180 °C for 10-12 minutes. Remove the film and serve.

After opening, keep it in the refrigerator and consume within 24 hours.
